The BIG Show in New York City

Mississippi State ATM students Katie Thornton, Brittani Wilkinson, and Hannah Reynolds (myself) were honored to attend the National Retail Federation's BIG Show 2014 in New York City from January 10-13th. We had a blast hearing from industry professionals, meeting people from all over the world, and of course being in the big city! There was a special program for students that we had the privilege to attend. Charles Freeman was our faculty chaperone. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Newman and the School of a Human Sciences for sponsoring us! We can't wait to go back next year!

The convention was held in the Javits Center.

The group at one of the seminars.

This networking event was held at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Times Square. We met a lot of interesting people!

One of the smaller seminar break away sessions. We were able to pick what areas interested us most.

The opening ceramony. Thousands of people from all over the world sat in those seats.
