Today in Dallas was all about questions.

We started out at jcpenney's World Corporate Headquarters with a tour of the facility.  The headquarters take up over 1.9 million square feet!  Huge!  Our guides were Megan Biggs and Lakeitria Luter who both work as part of the recruitment team getting college talent into the organization.  The museum in the atrium was a journey from the humble beginnings of the organization as a dry goods store in Kemmerer, Wyoming to a large national chain.  We toured the downstairs facilities as well, housing an in-house Walgreen's drug store, a physician's office and two cafeterias, some of the many benefits of working for the company.  The TV production studios were next where they are able to produce all of the training videos, corporate transmissions and photo ads, as well as all the radio spots for the company.

Ms. Luter gave a presentation on jcpenney, it's structure and internship policies and Robin Cox (a MSU alumni!) joined her for a brief description of their duties and questions. They were incredibly informative and helpful, and had so much information for us on how we could get involved with the company as well as the industry in general.
