Mississippi fashionistas rejoice! A new boutique has opened in Starkville and we couldn't be more excited about it. Formerly an online boutique, Style Revel now has a storefront on Main Street. We got a chance to catch up with the owner, Letty Stricklin, to talk about her new venture into the Starkville shopping scene.
Why did you decide to open a store front for Style Revel?
It's always been my dream to open a store and the building just kind of fell into our laps so I felt like it was the right time to do it.
Who is the Style Revel girl?
I would say the Style Revel girl is very trendy so she doesn't like to spend alot of money on each piece. We always make sure we have clothing to fit a wide variety of personalities and styles, all at a really good price point.
Where do you find the vintage items you sell?
I go on "digging trips" with my mom to the coast and back and we go to antique stores, flea markets, and estate sales, places like that.
How did you decide on the name Style Revel?
Our initial idea for the whole website was that we would have a different fashion blogger each month who would host a "style party" on the site and create a collection for our customers. Revel means party or merriment so I wanted the name to reflect our whole business idea.
